Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Vidya Vardhak Sangh® started the Dr Ambedkar First Grade College established in 1994. College is affiliated to Raichur University, Raichur. College offer courses of B.A(Bachelor of Arts) , B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce ) and B.Sc (Bachelor of Science). Our institution Celebrating Silver Jubilee. It gives strength and empowerment to rural and backward classes students at affordable fees. College provides the Hostel facility to rural SC / ST Students from remote areas. Library is well equipped with more than 10 Thousands Books and 15 Journals and Magazines. Ou Library also Automation with Library Management Software. It provides Information Sources to Students, Faculty Members and Research Scholars.
Presently more than 500 students pursuing there graduation in Arts, Science and Commerce Subjects. Our college became a Grant-In-Aid by Government of Karnataka on dated 30-07-2014. All Teaching and Non-Teaching Staffs are qualified and conducting a workshops, Seminars, Conferences and Annual NSS Programs Yearly. More than 1000 students got a Government Jobs from our college.

We want to prepare our student to inculcate human values such as love, sincerity, empathy, co-operation and constitutional values and by building these values in students can empower in there choosen profession.

DR AMBEDKAR FIRST GRADE COLLEGE, RANGAMPET TQ - SHORAPUR DIST - YADAGIR. is an off-shoot of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Vidya Vardhak Sangh® Group of Institutions, was established in the year 1976-77.
The College affiliated to Raichur University, Raichur. The College is situated at Rangampet. Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Vidya Vardhak Sangh® Group of Institutions Campus in Rangampet, Shorapur City. Many of the student studied here have occupied prestigious positions in various sectors in different capacities especially in the field of Education.
The College has well trained, experienced and efficient faculty members, who is serving whole heartedly for the good cause of education. All the facets of the Institution are taken care for further development and extension to become an ideal Institution.
